Could not get MTM2 simulator out of FAULT state

      Description

      The MTM2 simulator went into FAULT state trying to transition to STANDBY from ENABLED state after 28 hours being in ENABLED state. The FAULT report said:

      1.00 Controller's state is Fault.
      		 
      6057.00 Controller's state is Fault.

      I tried to run the clearErrors command, but that reported that the command failed to run. I tried a few more state transition attempts, but the CSC refused to budge. I had to shut it down hard in order to recover.
