During discussions of LDM-523 with the project science team, a question was raised about whether spatial variations in the filter bandpasses could exacerbate the effect of DCR. The specification currently permits up to a 1.5% shift in the red and blue transmission edges of grizy and 2.5% in u. Ian Sullivan's back-of-the-envelope calculation is that this is at worst a ~0.1 pixel effect, but it would be nice to confirm that this is not a significant worry. The best way to do so involves the simulation code that will be updated in
DM-9900, and this is hopefully a very short investigation once that code is revived. The priority on this is low; this ticket serves mostly as a reminder of this discussion for Ian Sullivan.
