Refactor grid generation in ImageMapReduceTask

      Description

      The current code for generating the grid upon which to split exposures to perform spatially-varying operations is unnecessarily complex and has some bugs. For this story, we will fix that code and test it on real data.

          John Parejko Would you be willing to review this ticket, since you reviewed the original one where I introduced this code? It is an attempt to refactor the grid generation for ImageMapReduceTask, which was, IMHO, a bit clunky before, and I think a bunch clearer now.
