Description

Per discussion in ~~DM-10009~~: mask setting could be moved out of the reducer operation and optimally into the mapper subtask (where the sub-images are processed). This could speed up processing overall.

The current ZOGY implementation does not use the mapper. The mapper and the handling of the spatially varying cases need further considerations and re-implementation. See subtasks of ~~DM-21868~~.
