      Description

I've noticed that since the background monitor has been migrated, every time i click on the same table to be displayed from the background monitor ('show result' link), the color of the overlay symbols changes.
I think it should be fixed based on the first color it got the first time or the color that i chose at some point unless is a fresh session/browser change.
Is the color persisted in a cookie?

It looks to me that Firefly is aware the catalog is overlaid on the background image already since it replaces the old layer. Is it possible that Firefly does not do anything if the catalog is already overlaid? It will keep the color, and save the time to redraw the entries in the table.
