lsstsw/bin/deploy can not recover from failed miniconda installation

      Description

      As reported by Fritz Mueller on slack, it appears that deploy is unable to recover a failed miniconda installation:

      script returned exit code 1

      A possible work around is to remove the $LSSTSW/miniconda directory if the $LSSTSW/miniconda/.deployed lock file is absent.
