      Description

      The source code of the DESDM framework is kept under Subversion version control system. The goal is to convert selected revisions/tags of its packages to git repositories.

          8 SPs seems like a lot for this since we seem to have lost all the history. Have we resolved the history issue?

          Also, if we are going to lose history, (which I dislike), can you please fix the first commit author so it is not you but is a generic DESDM user. Otherwise it's going to be really difficult to disambiguate commits you write from commits that were pulled in when the repository was initialized.
