      Description

Describe and document the planned Registry SQL schema. Will start as as a technote (with as much content as possible added to and extract from the YAML file in daf_butler), and probably move to a middleware LDM in the future (after RFC).

Michelle Gower, could you take the lead on the internal/dev-team review of this document describing the registry schema?

The plan is to put this up for DM-wide review via RFC after the internal review is done, so I'll leave it up to you whether to e.g. defers suggestions of new columns to that or do them on this review; either is fine with me.

I think it's mostly important to look just at the compiled tech note, which can be found here:

            https://dmtn-073.lsst.io/v/DM-12620/index.html

There are also GitHub PRs for both the technote and the YAML file used as the ultimate source of truth in daf_base. You're welcome to use those as a place to comment if you'd like, but any other way of commenting on PDFs is fine with me to, and I don't think there's any need to look at the source for its own sake.

Michelle Gower has indicated via DM that she's content with this to move on to the next phase of review (a broader-audience RFC), with the expectation that she (and NCSA more broadly) will have more to say at that phase.

I'll proceed with cleaning up the technote and merging it to master in preparation for that review, which I expect to leave open for at least two months to make sure all interested parties have an opportunity to comment and iterate with us on the (initial) schema.

            Merged to master. Now RFC-484.
