There are instructions for how to add a new camera to obs_lsst documented in the obs_lsst package. Robert Lupton thinks he has converted this to RST.

This ticket was motivated by the need for a design review of yaml camera. We do not intend to do a design review so the design will continue to be evaluated as we move forward with yaml camera

I would settle for any document explaining anything about yaml camera. So far we have no story for explaining to people how to use it other than pointing them at the LSSTCam definition and telling them to work it out themselves.
