      Description

      We are going to use Kubernetes for LSP deployment as a whole. We need to experiment with K8s for SUIT/Firefly deployment.

            Setup Kubernetes on 3 machines; one master and 2 nodes.

            Kubernetes: v1.8.5
            Docker: v17.03.2
            Pod Network: Weave Net

            NGINX Ingress Controller

            • load balancing
            • cookie-based session sticky
            • self-signed ssl certificate

            Firefly

            • from DockerHub with tag "k8s"
            • Debian 9, Tomcat 8

            Dashboard

            • recommended setup with an admin-user account.

             

            Unresolved Issues:

            • cache replication not working (multicast)
            • setup authentication module
            • setup Let's Encrypt, or use a CA issued cert.
