Please delete 129 and not 294... Did Wil O'Mullane agree with this plan?

LDM-294 is Tex - as long as i am here it will remain tex the ldm-294.lsst.io should remain .. took a while to get it in place
How did it get mixed up with ldm-129 ?? .... which I would prefer not in word but ok if that is how its done.

Yes, I've fixed the typo in the title/description.

To quickly answer your question, there are two parts:

            1. LSST Data Management's policy is not to prune branches. https://developer.lsst.io/processes/workflow.html#merging
            2. LSST the Docs creates new editions (/v/<slug) when new branches and tags are pushed. But it does not automatically delete these editions if branches are deleted. We could prioritize implementing that. It's related to DM-9284, which is currently on the backlog.

If you have more questions on this topic, I suggest we move to DM-9284.
