I'm curious what the status on this is? I was waiting on a readme update before trying to run it again.

My impression is that this ticket is by all possible practical measures implemented, as I, Yusra AlSayyad and Sophie Reed have all been using it with eups for a long time. I would say at this point that fixing the out-of-date readme should probably just a different ticket. And anything still on this ticket branch is probably hopelessly out of date. John Swinbank what's the protocol for calling work complete but via the side-effects of other tickets, rather than merging a specific branch related to this ticket?

(Sorry for being slow to catch this one) — mark this ticket as “Invalid” and add a link to the tickets on which the work was implemented.

Can someone please close this somehow? It still shows up in my "tickets you should review" list.
