After running several tests at in2p3 it has become apparent that major issues were paramters that worked well on the PDAC cause issues at IN2P3, a major one being number of threads in the worker pool. The other major issue being mariadb appears to need significantly more resources for join queries and performance suffers tremendously if sufficient resources are not available.

Using separate configurations for different clusters should help keep contamination from occurring. Configuring mariadb and the container will hopefully improve the performance for multiple concurrent queries with joins.
