      Description

During demos today , we saw something in FF:

      https://ned.ipac.caltech.edu/

      Bring up M31 overview
      Go to NED photometry pane,
in the sed plot select that dense bunch of points around 10^15 Hz
      click the “Filter” button,
      what happens to the plot?
      to the table?

we see it all go grey/dead with some message about “unexpected token UNITS”

      • in the pable div and a back button
click that button .. nuthin but grey
This seems like a filter fail ...

If one Clears the filters first - this seems not to happen ...

if i put the = ‘Jy’ filter back in - and do the select... grey death.

I seem to be able to excite this on mac safari and firefox

May be related to the "second filter" problem

The issues was caused by extra calculation for log10(). Jeffery Jacobson will use log10() directly to avoid the problem for now. But it also revealed a parsing problem in Firefly.

            • Firefly forces "" for columns with space in the name, but does not accepts "" for columns without any space.

But from NED UI, it looks like Firefly accepted the "" for column Frequency, but did not like it after filter was applied.
