DPDD says MOPS will delete DIAObjects

    XMLWordPrintable

    Details

      Description

In section 3.2.2 - Solar System Object Processing, step 4 is to delete DIAObjects which have had all their DIASource detections reassigned to SSObjects. For query-repeatability purposes these should not be deleted, and instead should be "expired" by setting the appropriate validity end time (c.f. DPDD Section 2.5, Repeatability of Queries). Further detail on this process is described in LDM-135.

Kian-Tat Lim, can you confirm that this small change to the DPDD is accurate?

Yes, replacing "deleted" with "expired" is clearer.
