Current Firefly maintains a standard list of instrument footprint in the "Marker" drop down menu. They are organized with subMenu items for clarity and control. 

This ticket requests that Firefly provides mechanism to make the content part of the dropDown menu application configuration, e.g., controlled via the suit package for LSST or the ife package for IRSA. The Firefly repo could still contain a standard set of footprint files, but more could be added in the application, and even some of the standard ones suppressed.
