Although the changes to `daf_butler` and `obs_subaru` to allow a gen2 calibration repository to be converted to gen3 appear to work and have been tested independently, no automatic validation has been added to `ci_hsc`.  The work on this ticket will update the validateDataset method to properly handle the new calibration datasets used (bias, dark, flat).
