            Note that JDBC support has been de-prioritized (arguably, entirely de-scoped).  Nonetheless, we should have test coverage for all currently supported query syntax.  (Yanking the query support, if deemed totally obsolete, rather than adding the tests, is also acceptable, when we get here.)
