      Description

      This epic covers the introduction of InfluxDB to the SQuaSH stack in order to take advantage of the off-the-shelf capabilities of Chronograf so as to release effort spent on a dedicated in-house web UI.

          The InfluxDB data model for SQuaSH was implemented and documented in SQR-009 an example notebook to exercise this data model was also created.

          These results are available in the squash-demo database in InfluxDB. Production still needs to be updated. The corresponding ticket DM-18060 was moved to the backlog and will be done in the next cycle.

          Improvements in the Chronograf UI include the support to markdown content in table cells and thus the ability to display code changes in the new UI as we had in the original implementation.

          A proof of concept notebook showing that we can run a SQuaSH bokeh app (AM1) in a notebook in LSP is provided.

          Dashboards for tracking DRP and AP metrics were also created in https://chronograf-demo.lsst.codes
