      Description

      The lsst-dm/alert_stream repository contains example alert data (in the data/ directory) which was encoded with an older schema that the one currently offered by lsst-dm/sample-avro-alert. Please re-encode these example alerts using the new schema.

            Should consider whether this example data is even useful in the regime that we are now providing HiTS alerts to the community brokers. If not, we should just remove it. Spencer Nelson and Eric Bellm will have thoughts.

            I think we should delete this example data, and perhaps think about how to sustainably maintain a small cache of example alerts through schema updates--this might be something we could take from CI.
