recover access to tssw aws "root" user

      Description

      The "root" user for the tssw aws account has an email address of srini@lsst.org and I am not aware of the password. This has long been an irritation as aws support emails responses go to that address. Another problem is that unless a permission change is made as "root", aws iam billing policy is deactivated, which is preventing usage monitoring/alerting from being enabled.

            Iain Goodenow Does an email account for srini@lsst.org still exist? The easiest way to get access to the root aws account is get a password reset email link from that account.

            Send a reset and I will access the mailbox and retrieve it. I guessed on the login as the email but that didn't work.

            I'm managed to reset the root account email address and password. I also discovered that srini had left a t2.micro instance running ($10/mo) that I've terminated.
