It's not 100% clear how this should be done. The normal way might be fine, but this is currently not part of isr, but of imChar I think, so even if we do it the "normal" way, we still need to get this run on these images. I suspect the way to go will be detecting, masking and ignoring, but not interpolating over them, but I could be wrong.
