      Description

Attached to DM-16084 is an Excel spreadsheet with Batch Production Services requirements.   Please ingest them into the LSST model.  The spreadsheet contains a second sheet with opening paragraphs and the list of authors if needed.

Also, please note that that in one of the requirements (row 4) we reference LSE-81 as the parent requirement.

Calling this ticket done. There will probably be changes required following formal review.

Michelle Gower can you please sign off on this ticket to indicate that you are happy with the initial work of generating the document?

I've ingested the requirements and created a non-preferred PDF on Docushare: https://docushare.lsst.org/docushare/dsweb/Get/Version-57872/LDM-636.pdf

I have not yet added derived requirements information or linked to parameters since if we have major changes requested during the formal RFC then I assume I'll be recreating the model from a spreadsheet again.

I think "Batch Production Service Requirements" is a little clearer and still consistent with the product tree.  I am fine with using LDM-636 for this.  We can repurpose LDM-637 for something else later.

It is fine for me if the document will be renamed to "Batch Production Requirements".

Looking at the product tree, this implies that this document should contain requirements for the following products:

            • Batch Production (service in Offline Services)
            • Campaign Management (software product in Batch Production SW)
            • Workload/ flow (software product in Batch Production SW)

However, based on the proposed requirements, the product tree itself can be updated in order to be more adherent to reality.

Quite a long time back in #dm-arch there were discussions about this.

            https://github.com/lsst/LDM-636
            Offline Processing Workload/Workflow Services Requirements

            and

            https://github.com/lsst/LDM-637
            Production Campaign Management Services Requirements

We ended up combining both of those sets of requirements into a single Batch Production Services Requirements spreadsheet (same for the use cases).

If I read LDM-503 correctly I don't think we have a document handle allocated for Batch Production Services Requirements so the first thing we need to do is get one before ingesting into MagicDraw. Kian-Tat Lim have I missed something?
