In the LSST Science Platform Notebook Aspect, when using the Firefly for Jupyterlab extension, the lsst.display.firefly backend needs to properly set the viewer id when displaying an image. Then that will fix the problem of restarting a notebook kernel and having display of images going to the newly opened Firefly tab.
