      This task captures the work required to write and test a script to take standard detector characterization dataset(s) for ATCamera.

            The script to take flat field data is ready and working. I run some quick tests on it and it is working. Need to verify now that it meets the requirements.

            I made some shortcuts (like the user is responsible for setting up the exposure times) because we need to flush out how to access the data to provide an automatic mode than can compute exposure times from requested DN levels.

            The script is also capable of setting up the spectrograph, if needed, and will run if the instrument is not available.

            Looks very nice – clean and easy to follow.

            I put a few requests on github (primarily an expansion of the unit test to include the commands your script sends to ATSpectrograph).
