      Description

      This sub-ticket of DM-18304 just asks the Portal team to specify precisely the number of cores and GB to be allocated to each Firefly pod on the NCSA LSP instances lsst-lsp-int and lsst-lsp-stable.

      The idea is to get the numbers on the record on this ticket. Subsequently as part of Portal close-out work this information will be included in the deployment manual.

      The actual Kubernetes configuration modifications will be done on DM-18304.

          Th original hardware allocated for SUIT in setting up PDAC in 2017 configuration: three machines, each with 124 GB ram; 40 cpu (10 cores). Now we have one machine allocated for lsp-int, two for lsp-stable. We need to deploy two application servers on each LSP instance, and plan to use up to 60% of RAM and CPU of the machine. That's how I got the numbers.

          for each server on lsp-int (2 application servers):

                  36GB RAM, 12 CPU (120 cores)

          for each serve on lsp-stable (2 application servers):

                  72GB RAM, 24CPU (240 cores)
