      Description

DMS-REQ-0390 requires that offline re-runs generate identical outputs. In AP this becomes challenging because ap_association produces DIAObjects that may depend on the sequence in which the visits are processed, which cannot be assumed to be sequential from the telescope due to processing time variations, catchup processing, etc. Consecutive visits to the same patch of sky may also produce duplicate DIAObjects which may require a "cleanup process" to merge; this process would also need to be reproduced.

This ticket is to determine what timing information the ap_pipe system needs to record in online processing to achieve the reproducibility objective, and to recommend a strategy for offline processing to implement it.
