In order to improve the client-side experience for users of heavily populated user/group workspace file trees, we would like to investigate whether we can support, first on the server side and then on the client side, some form of WebDAV RFC-5323 SEARCH facility, and/or a similar capability in VOSpace.

The current WebDAV server being used by DAX does not support SEARCH.

This is not an immediate (mid-2019) priority but is of interest in the longer term.
