            I've started some reading and code examination to dig in on vetting the bittorrent idea – I think that work fits best under this task so I'm taking it over for now...

            Review of prior-art research was begun with a whiteboard presentation at 5/11 QServ team meeting.

            Prior-art research will be be summarized in document deliverable for DM-2000, being written on Google Docs here:
