Some notes I took during my observations of the M2 coating.

When running a program and you want to make sure that it is working. The way you want is to first create your recipe. Run them in single step mode to make sure that they are working correctly. This is so that you can make sure that your interlocks are being met. You ensure that your recipe is correct. For example if you have a subprogram for turning on the water and you see an error from a generator, the visualization will complain about this.

Then you can run the program in normal mode because the single step mode will not identify any race conditions that the recipe may have.

Currently VA is trying to create a program such that it can be used for both the m1m3 and m2 coatings. However it currently is looking like they may need to change the program.

Torsten changing one of the recipes. They want to modify the sputtering speed. Wants a slower Silicone Nitride speed so Torsten changes the first 10 variables and reduces the value.

Turning on the other MCC. Computer does not boot normally. The wireless keyboard doesn’t allow you to boot, need cabled one. Booted into low resolution mode to see if we can get into windows that way.

The CHU is not currently working properly. It is giving some warning signals. To clear these Torsten is operating on the visualization tool to clear the warning signs to be able to return to normal operation.

Setting up a network connection. IP address being set to 172.16.246.200 Subject mask being set to 255.255.192.0. Default gateway being set to 172.16.

There was a problem with the cryos that were letting in gas. This set back the coating an hour. Although the script told the valves to close they did not. VA team debugged this quickly and manually shut them off.

Starting the recipe for the initial coating beginning with the Nickel Chromium. Torsten was observing the visualization tool and the cameras it provide inside the chamber as the script was executing to verify that it was behaving normally. Monitoring that the shutters open and close at the correct degree, that the gas inlet valves open at the correct degree, that the chamber is painting the correct pressure each layer has a different specific pressure. Tomi has the sheet with the technical specifications.

Now currently going Silver on magnetron 43. You can see one of the mirror pads underneath before the silver is applied. After the silver coating is applied you no longer see these pads. I took a photo of these on my phone..
