added a comment - It changed because in DM-18895 when eigen was updated the version tag was not added. I added it earlier in the week when I noticed the problem.

added a comment - I just checked the eigen lsst repository, and both v18.0.0 and v18.1.0.rc1 are on the same hash: 221959b.
Tim Jenness seems having added the 3.3.7 tag recently, that was forgotten 3 months ago. He may provide more details on that.
v18_1_0_rc1 contains eigen 3.3.7, whereas v18_0_0 contains eigen 3.3.4.lsst1-1-g221959b. Do we know why that changed? I think the only non-local (ie, not following a +) version change should be in daf_base.
