      Description

      Improvements to the first version of the standalone prototype built through DM-2042. Discussions with the Application Team on capturing provenance and integrating DRP with the provenance system. Add scaffolding / unit tests that will simulate data producers, in particular DRP.

      Deliverable: DRP-ready System for capturing provenance.

            This epic applied to the old "Jacek-era" database provenance design, which is no longer planned. Redesign suggestion from the Provenance Working Group is expected shortly; necessary work downstream of that report to be ticketed separately.
