          I'd like to have a discussion about these changes and if they should go into the pipeline, or into the setDefault methods on CharacterizeImageConfig and CalibrateConfig

          I've added the bit to parse the yaml file and set configs. I'm 100% positive that I haven't done it correct, since I don't know how to make the code go look for the config file automatically and whether to raise an exception if a non-existent attribute is being set in the yaml file and so on. Looking for some inputs here.
