Can we please bump this up the priority chain? Having this missing from lsst_distrib is making ci_hsc_gen2 work more annoying.

Thanks for the patience.  I've started the first part of this, that is, renaming the cat package to sdm_schemas.   This is relatively straightforward because the package doesn't contain python/c++ codes, and there are no open ticket branches. The only package currently dependent on this is ci_hsc_gen2 (PR: https://github.com/lsst/ci_hsc_gen2/pull/25) 

John Parejko would you mind reviewing the renaming?

Thank you for the help. The rename has been done, and the package sdm_schemas is added to lsst_distrib.

The old package is temporarily left at https://github.com/lsst-sqre/cat_legacy
Unless there are issues, we'll delete it in a week or two.
