      Description

      Currently Gen3 requires all of the raw images in the same exposure to be ingested at the same time. The OODS and the Data Backbone (and presumably other services and users) need to ingest a single raw image at a time.

      (Independent work from the creation of an ingest command-line script)

            I believe this ticket can now be closed, either as a duplicate of DM-15536 as "Invalid" or as satisfied by DM-15536 with "Done"; I'm not sure what role this ticket played for anyone else's planning, so I'd prefer to leave it to Michelle Gower and/or Tim Jenness to work that out.

            I closed it, although it doesn't solve the problem with redefining visits problem. We haven't really sorted out how we know when it's safe to define a visit if snaps are involved. That's not for this ticket though.
