      Description

      Resolve the PXI software issues at hand. In other words.

      • Obtain the following software modules 
        NI-RIO IO Scan - MISSING, MIA from NI package manager
        NI Common Instrument Design Libraries - MISSING
        LabVIEW SoftMotion Module - MISSING
        NI 1588-2008 Network Management - MISSING
        NI-TimeSync Time Reference for IEEE 1588-2008 - MISSING
      • In parallel to this, attempt to run the software alone and let labview complain. Petr suggested that this may give more clues on how to obtain the software packages.

          This issue is resolved! 

          I finally got through to a technical expert who was able to provide me with links to all the modules I was missing and failing to find through google.

          • NI RIO IOSCAN 18.5
            1. This gets installed with the NI CompactRIO driver. Again, you could use 19.6 if you use LabVIEW 2018 SP1. If you use LabVIEW 2018, you will have to stay with version 18.
          • NI-COMMOMN INSTRUMENT DESIGN LIBRARIES 18.0 and latest
            1. This one gets installed with the LabVIEW Instrument Design Libraries for High-Speed Serial Instruments, preferably Version 18 as you will need to use LabVIEW 2018 SP1.
          • LabVIEW soft motion module 18.0 and latest
            1. This you may purchase on this website. Remember that the last version available online is 2018 and starting next year, National Instruments will no longer support any motion control software.
          • NI 1588-2008 Network management 16.0 and latest
            1. For this, please install NI-Sync
          • NI Time sync time reference for IEEE 1588-2008 16.0 and latest
            1. This gets installed with NI-TimeSync, which is a driver available online.

          These software modules are installed onto the real time target computer. For review I can show you on Ni MAX how to view the software modules installed onto target computers.
