Can you add the DMTR number to this ticket?
It will be DMTR-251
The first draft is available at https://dmtr-251.lsst.io/v/DM-24482/index.html
I added a figure (at Leanne's request - good idea!), and the tables now contain RC2 metric measurements as well as the validation_data_hsc values.
Thank you Jeff.
However, I don't think I have the knowledge required to review this document. Therefore I remove me from the Reviewers list.
As soon as Leanne is happy, I can issue it to Docushare.
A few comments
you say "14 photometric, astrometric and shape measurements were derived but only a subset were reported" - why only a subset? We should show all calculations and increasing progress towards completion.
There is a significant difference between the metric values obtained from the validation dataset and the RC2 dataset - sometimes better and sometimes worse. Do you understand the reasons? I assume running jointcal is what has resulted in better astrometric results? It would be good to include an explanation in the report.
Computational performance metrics were not re-measured for this release. We expect no significant changes relative to the report on version 12. ==> I don't think you can say the last sentence if you have not measured the computational performance since R12.
Abstract contains a '?' - some latex compile error?
After the DMTR-191 reference is fixed, the final step will be to fix the "acronyms" appendix. (For example, "KPM" doesn't appear, while "SSP: Solar System Processing" should not be there.)
The document is ready to be issued to Docushare.
