When looking at the prototype users wanted to search for a particular author. This exposed some unexpected behavior. For example, when searching for "Jenness" I got a lot of results with "Jenness" in a list of authors, but the name did not show up in the contributors list. On the other hand, if I search "System Integrity" Tim Jenness shows up in contributors.

In talking, this has to do with the interaction with searchable fields vs. facetable fields. Perhaps adding search to authors specifically serves this use case.
