In order to support a reanalysis, at engineering level, of how to provide the User File Workspace capabilities, a set of driving use cases for the workspace would be useful, in addition to the existing requirements (which already reflect past technology choices).

Ideally these would be obtained from a look back at earlier documents from the project, but they can be supplemented by fresh thinking.

This work is relatively urgent; it's a predecessor to engineering effort beginning, and delivering some level of User File Workspace capability is a desired feature for DP0.
