At the stand up yesterday we came to the conclusion that Jim Bosch's notebook on gen3 butler usage is probably sufficient (assuming it's modernized) to count as documentation for talking people through the change in butler usage from a user perspective.

No. I was asking if anyone knew where it was. I've completely forgotten about it and I'm upset with my past self for not adding the notebook to this ticket.

Jim Bosch I'm guessing we should close this as won't fix. The time has long passed where people had some gen2 code and wanted to know how to convert it to gen3. In a week we won't have any gen2 code left to look at.
