Urgent?:No
Description
This task is for another week spent on the summit. We had issues getting the VNC working. The following a series of steps of what was learned/accomplished.
1) At some point in time the tigervnc service stopped. We are unsure why they stopped, but they did.
2) In order to get the tigervnc services started again we had to run the command `rm -f /tmp/.X11-unix/X5` on all the running services (X5-X9). This solution was found on stackexchange. After that we were able to start the services without issue.
3) We made sure that the rotator and camera hexapod can be powered on. The M2 hexapod is in the base office and we were unable to turn this one on. We don't think this is related to the issue but regardless we know we can turn them on and clear the interlocks. I shared with Franco a diagram provided by tekniker that tells you how to wire a by-pass plug for clearing the interlocks when the CCW and Rotator are disconnected.
4) We verified that the connections can be made using tcpdump and netstat.
5) I will be creating a ticket with more details of these steps and other steps suggested by Dave to try following the next sprint.
