Per this confluence page https://confluence.lsstcorp.org/display/DM/AP+Pipeline+Configuration, I have been manually setting calibrate.photoCal.match.referenceSelection.magLimit.fluxField="i_flux"
and calibrate.photoCal.match.referenceSelection.magLimit.maximum=22.0 for some time when I reprocess HiTS data with ap_pipe. obs_subaru has defaults analogous to this, but there are no global defaults. Lacking magnitude uncertainties in the pan-starrs refcat, a faint end cutoff is the next best option. We should add these as defaults for DECam presumably following an RFC and consider if we want to implement anything more broadly (not obs-package specific).
