      Description

      The issues with gphoto2 have been resolved (see the linked issue) so now work on the CSC can continue. This issue is for testing the current CSC and improving it such that pictures actually can be taken.

            Updated the project to use pre-commit and updated all Python files to refer to Vera Rubin Observatory instead of LSST.

            The Canon driver has been updated to produce a 16 bit grayscale FITS image. The examples directory now contains two Python scripts. One is for testing the Canon camera with Python and libgphoto2, the other to test exactly the same via the CSC.
