Fix Version/s: None
One more thing that John Parejko encouraged me to report: I don't author DMTNs or other LSST docs frequently (once every 1-2 years), so I use google to discover the procedures currently in place when I have to generate one. The document Google surfaced for me when I searched for "create new dmtn lsst" is https://lsst-texmf.lsst.io/templates/document.html . It'd be good to update it to mention the bot as the preferred way to generate DMTNs. It also led me a bit astray as to how to figure out the next DMTN number (it links to the github repo which isn't sorted, and I understand there's now a nicely formatted DMTN list somewhere else). Hope this helps!
I've updated the lsst-texmf docs and removed the old templates in this PR: https://github.com/lsst/lsst-texmf/pull/340
