      Description

The cRIO's have arrive at the recinto and they need to be opened, looked at and whatever other shenanigans to be able to be rack mounted. I need to hand over Julio a rack mountable system.

      Acceptance Criteria

      • Go to recinto and retrieve the cRIO's
      • Read over manuals and save them
      • rack mount the hardware by attaching the racking hardware to the cRIO's.

Coordinated with Julio and the Bodega. The cRIO is placed at the BDC and I emailed Carola to get access to the Recinto tomorrow.

Due to my vehicle license plate being stolen and out of service at the moment - I rode my bike to the recinto.

I entered the BDC and unboxed all the items that we shipped to use from NI. I unpackaged them, took all the manuals and organized them in a work folder for safe keeping. I also took an image of all the hardware.

The next step is to send these pictures to Franco Colleoni and Felipe Daruich to see if they can help me get the cRIOS powered up and mounted inside their chasis. This is sort of like LEGOS, but much more expensive. Fun.

Returned to the Recinto and completed piecing together all the hardware. They are ready for Julio to rack mount. Let Julio know via the ticket https://jira.lsstcorp.org/browse/IT-2814?jql=text%20~%20%22rack%20mount%22
