Igor Gaponenko, John Gates, Andy Salnikov, Nate Pease [X]: here's a cryptic little crumb from the past...  I thought we already handled this (for example, I know we can have multiple directors ingested, because we have tested cross-director JOINs in the past.)

I suppose it depends on what is meant exactly by "support for", but of course there are no details here.  Anybody familiar with the mentioned code at Facade::?

I'd like to determine whether we can/should close this issue, or to elaborate it with some further details to make it more meaningful/actionable.

Fritz Mueller actually, the current version of the "new" Ingest system doesn't support multiple director tables per catalog. This is something on my plate to work on. Though, I know Qserv seems to work fine with multiple directors.
