Firefly: incorrect double-click for negative floating-point numbers

      Description

      Double-clicking on negative floating-point numbers in table cells does not select the negative sign. This might be OK for general text but is a correctness hazard for science data where, due to the small size of the "-", it might not be noticed to be missing.

      Unclear if anything can be done about this.

      Observed in Safari 14.1.2.

          Tested with recent FIrefox on macOS today.

          • Double-click in table cells on a floating-point number selects only consecutive strings of digits, e.g., only "345" in "-12.345".
          • Triple-click in table cells on a floating-point number selects the entire number, regardless of sign.

          This would be acceptable if it is replicable in other browsers. Will check on that soon.
