Description
This epic covers a few projects on image characterization in Fall 2022 by a few team members:
- Erfan's project to calidate FitAffineWcs and turn it on by default
- Clare's project to implement GBDES in the Science Pipelines
- And Eli's delivery of FGCM for photometric calibration. FGCM was delivered Rubin Operations. Any work on maintenance and commissioning of FGCM for LSSTCam will be done on preops epics from Oct 1 2022 onwards.
- Lee's improvements to background estimation.
