Is the average azimuth also needed for the visit record?

Oh blimey, I must admit, due to my non-grokking of these types etc (records, not what visits mean) I don't actually choose my words that carefully, and had never really considered the difference.

I know this isn't an answer that's likely to please you, but I suspect the reality is: if snaps aren't _being combined, then yes, and if they are, then no (where no really means "not needed" rather than "mus not be present", _i.e. fine to add but don't worry if that's significant added complexity)

It's not hard to add it to visit and for it to be in visit it must first be in exposure. I can average azimuth and we do average zenith_angle but if you want those not to be set in multi-snap visit then I do need to know.

Oh no, like I said, it's fine for it to be there, totally, just thought it might be hard and therefore didn't want to require it. Sounds like treating it just like average zenith is perfect then
