      This the second phase of the Sasquatch roadmap.

      • Replace MySQL with Kafka
      • Send lsst.verify metrics to Kafka as Avro encoded messages
      • Provide documentation for the new API.

            It would be useful for the squash user to view the metrics definitions and specifications loaded into the system and navigate through them more easily than looking at the YAML files in the verify_metrics or similar repositories.
